Maud Hart Lovelace Birthday Party
Join the
Red Balloon Bookstore as they celebrate Maud Hart Lovelace’s 120th
birthday (Wednesday is her actual birthday!) and learn who the 2012
winners of the Minnesota Youth Reading Awards (MYRA)
are in Division 1 for grades 3-5 and Division II for grades 6-8. Maud
Hart Lovelace (the history player) will be at the Red Balloon
Bookshop to talk about her writing. Those attending will be the first to
receive the list of books nominated for the 2013 awards
and to hear a special announcement for Minnesota student readers. There
will have a chance to win a $20 Red Balloon Bookshop gift certificate
(sponsored by MYRA), and we will get to eat birthday cake!
