1. In math we had extra help today- it was FANTASTIC! We completed the equivalent fraction chart in the back of our math journals. We also sorted our fractions cards.

2. During snack we visited the achievement fair. We learned a lot about geckos, monsters, electricity, dolphins, owls, the earth and magnetism. Fantastic job 4th graders that participated, 4M is very proud of your accomplishments.

3. In library we found out about the new Caldecott Medal. We look forward to reading the 2012 winner, A Ball for Daisy. We were quite happy to see that Lynn Smith (one of our favorite authors) won an honor award with her new book Grandpa Green.

4. We played the Dewey Decimal Rap at the end of the day and said goodbye to our classmate T. Best of luck with your move back to South Korea, 4M is really going to miss you!

Homework: Read for 30 Minutes and do RAZ Kids (if you have an account set up with me!)
